Who We Are
Peach State Stays was started in 2025 from the dream to have a space in real estate and hospitality that solves the problem of the unknowns when being a guest to a new place. We are focused in Georgia but hope to grow into a much larger network of homes that are used for short and mid-term rentals across the southeast. We fell in love with the idea of an alternative to the traditional hotel stay that puts you into a home and we wanted to create a company that makes people feel right at home.
While looking into the space of short-term rentals we found that the need for good, qualified, and informed co-hosts was evident. The word on the street has been that STR is slowing down and on a decline, well it's quite the opposite. Now is a great time to get into STR for your property if you know how to do it. We noticed that most of the decline is due to burnout and most hosts not being able to keep up with the demands on their own. We aim to provide a solution for these hosts through co-hosting and taking on the grunt work that goes into managing a STR.
This has been an idea of our creator/owner, John Gordy, for quite some time. John has always loved developing soft skills and connecting with people. His background in sales and in the service industry has taught him the value of seeing people and their needs, and providing them with a solution that meets their needs. With a deep understanding of southern hospitality and a passion for creating memorable experiences, we strive to make every property owner's needs feel seen and guests feel like they're part of our extended family, welcomed with open arms and treated with the warmth that Georgia is famous for.
What We Do
Our company serves to meet the needs of our property partners and the desires of our guests. We provide our partners with full services necessary for running a short-term rental. We are prepared to take the keys and run your property as an STR while homeowners sit back and not worry about any of the daily hassles. What's nice about being a small business is our flexibility. We know that some STR owners already have a system in place and they may want to keep some of their involvement and we offer an option for them to continue to do the things that have worked for their property.
Just as much as we are involved in making sure the property partners we work with are well taken care of, we want our guests to feel seen and taken care of as well. As the travel industry continues to grow, we intend to grow in opportunities to host those looking for comfortability and good hospitality.
We aim to cater a place for those traveling for business or for fun. We hope to partner with multiple businesses, universities, and insurance companies to provide corporate housing options that serve as a reliable and constant plan for those in need of a more affordable option than just putting you up in a hotel. As we grow, we want to also move into homes that cater for those looking to get away from business and travel for anything from a sports event, to a mountain getaway, or maybe even a relaxing summer beach week. Our state truly has it all! We take pride in offering diverse accommodation options that showcase the best of what Georgia has to offer, from charming urban apartments to serene mountain retreats, ensuring that every traveler finds their perfect home away from home.
Our Goals for the Future
Our current goal is to increase our network of partners in order to reach more guests. We know we can provide property owners with a service that meets their needs. We want to stand out as Northeast Georgia's best luxury co-hosting agency. We ultimately want to be a short-term rental agency with a portfolio of co-hosted properties and grow through more property acquisitions using a process called rental arbitrage. This allows us to get more properties up and available for guest use in a quicker time than starting from scratch by using homes that are already on the market for rent. We partner with the landlords to offer these homes to the short/mid-term market. This allows our company to have full control over the property so that we can curate our own unique feel for guests to experience.
We hope to build a network of guests and partners that results in a relationship that they feel good doing continued business with.
